Leadership Development

What Is Leadership Development?

Making sure employees have the proper tools to perform their job is critical to business success.    Most organizations take care of the technical and hard skills of their operations.

It is the "soft" skills where managers tend to struggle.  They often know the end result of what they are looking to accomplish, however, there are several paths to get to the end result.   There are two steps in the process.

1) Management and Leadership Skills Development.  These skills are often trained in a classroom environment and cover the foundational skills of management and leadership.  These classes often focus on communication, motivation, time management, delegation skills, conflict management, etc.  The key to success with this training is support for the new skills and behaviors at the workplace.

2)  Management and Leadership Effectiveness Coaching.  Every leader is different and all have their own unique challenges and blind spots which can lead to under-performance or a stalled career.  We have developed a a short term engagement process that is customized to each person to address current challenges to effectiveness, or helping people prepare for the next step in their career.
